Today our second Summer Academy on Intercultural Experience starts. I’d like to send a very warm welcome to all the participants, trainers, professors, facilitators and key note speakers.
I’m extremely proud of the fact that once more Karlshochschule International University is the place and together with it’s Partner AFS the host of such an inspiring and remarkable event.

“Simply Scouting – Meetings, Nature and Solidarity – unter diesem Motto habe ich mich am 24.07. zum World Scout Jamboree, dem Weltpfadfindertreffen, welches in diesem Jahr in Schweden stattfindet aufgemacht. Mit mir sind noch 38.000 weitere Besucher für 14 Tage bei diesem Mega-Event mit dabei. Dies löst bei dem ein oder anderem sicherlich die Frage auf: Was, Pfadfinder, die gibt’s noch? Da kann ich nur mit Entschlossenheit antworten: Natürlich! Zur Pfadfinderbewegung gehören 41 Millionen Kinder und Jugendliche, (…)

Nun schließt sich für dieses Jahr das Fenster…

… in die weite Welt der Praktikanten. Wir sind jetzt dabei unsere Thesis zu schreiben oder sind schon fertig und ziehen jetzt bald in die Weiten des Arbeitsmarktes hinaus. Wir hoffen, dass im nächsten Jahr wieder ein paar Fenster geöffnet werden und ihr uns als Alumni einen Einblick in eure Praktika Erlebnisse geben könnt. “What are professors doing during the summer break?
One thing is: They are becoming students again.
Now: Karlshochschule is an international university and teaching there hence means to teach in English (at least: most of the time).
In fact: International Business, Intercultural Management and Communication (optional)  and our Master in Leadership are completely in English; all other courses start in German the first year and continue in English from the second year on.

Summer Academy on Intercultural Experience 2011

Auch in diesem Jahr findet vom 1 bis 12 August wieder die Summer Academy on Intercultural hier an der Karlshochschule statt. http://summeracademy-karlsruhe.org/ (…) Die Summer Academy befasst sich mit aktuellen Fragen und Themen der Forschungs- und Anwendungsgebiete interkulturelle Kommunikation und interkulturelles Managements und zielt darauf ab, die interkulturelle Perspektive im Bereich der Managementlehre zu stärken.
Bis jetzt sind schon über 50 Teilnehmer aus der ganzen Welt angemeldet. Sie stammen aus: Argentina, Armenia, Belarus, Brazil, Cameroon, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Egypt, France, Luxemburg,
