SPEECH – Rachel Welton – “Cultural identity and development of destination branding: …“ – Abstract

Dr. Welton’s lecture explored the extent to which there is a sense of national identity across the tourism stakeholder groups within the country and the degree to which this sense of national identity is reflective of the country brand as espoused by her precious project, Earth Lung Project rebranding a nation of Sri Lanka. During her lecture she gave insights on the national and cultural environments of Sri Lanka, and the implementation of the Earth Lung Project!
