Call for Papers: Leadership, Social Responsibility and Sustainability

In the bi-lingual book series ‚Die Neue Führungskunst – The New Art of Leadership’ – edited by Lutz Becker, Johannes Ehrhardt and Walter Gora – scientists and business leaders describe and challenge contemporary leadership rules and trends in Business as well as in Politics and Non-Profit Organizations. The focus is set on change and strategic dynamics. The aim of the book series is to stimulate awareness regarding the needs to improve leadership in practice and to provide suggestions for a next generation leadership approach.

The book series is published by Symposion Publishing GmbH, one of the leading publishers of management literature in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Target groups are senior and junior managers, consultants and the academic community .

The 8th volume of the series ‚Leadership, Social Responsibility and Sustainability“ (working title) will be published in early 2011. Editors of this volume are Lutz Becker (Head of Karlshochschule’s Master Program Leadership), Holger Hakensohn (Founder of the Human Capital Group) and Frank H. Witt (Founding Dean of Ada University’s Business School in Ethiopia).

Among the authors are Europe’s leading experts and researchers in the field of business ethics and sustainability. In order to complete this volume, we are calling for 2-4 case studies, best practices resp. best practice research papers.

The contributions should be made in preferably in German (or English).

Any contribution to the volume should focus on either challenges for (strategic) leadership given by a critical view of globalization and non-sustainable business practices or on the process of a substantial strategy and culture change or both.

Guidelines for Authors:

Please adjust your article to the needs of the primary target group, think about benefits for professionals.
Volume 20.000 to 40.000 signs (spaces incl.). Proposals and submitted articles will be reviewed and selected by both the editors and the publisher.

Articles have to be submitted up to Mai 31, 2011 (new) in English or preferably German language.
